STOP 22’s mission is to reduce veteran suicide through community. STOP 22 provides tuition assistance to military veterans in the Kansas City Area (Missouri or Kansas) seeking an undergraduate degree in one of the following fields of study: psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or health sciences. By supporting veterans in these areas of study, we aim to build a community of scholars who will in turn support their local communities, and other veterans in meaningful ways as to give those in need a sense of community, and the tools for self-care and purpose, thus reducing veteran suicide.
