Claire further helped to develop and implement a grant-funded violent crime reduction initiative as well as a grant-funded restorative diversion program through the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR). Claire also prosecuted animal cruelty offenses for the office and provided trainings on animal abuse to law enforcement, lawyers, and community members. At the end of my first year at the Prosecutor’s Office, I received the Claire McCaskill Community Prosecutor award. Claire now operates her own law firm Wyatt Law KC, where she advocates for a “more compassionate and just world, for the voices that too often go unheard, and for the underdog.”
